Gauteng/Kyalami Driver of the Day

For me Guimaraes for a very cool performance for such a young guy who to be honest I previously did not rate that much

Lam Pak has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

i want give the prize to zahir ali and flipe albuquerque at same time. zahir is a great walkabout lens also and it rarely comes. think indonesia can do beter with a beter team. my vote. luv his race2. albuquerque produces great results throughout the range and portugal wasnt nothing before him. dont give him vote cause he dont know how to start.

Guimaraes without a shadow of a doubt. OK, you need to avoid his "whoops" in practice, but he well made up for it.

I'm confident John would have cruised to 2nd place in that race if the engine didn't stall.

Even if the anti stall had cut in and he struggled all the way down the pit lane. He was much faster than Brazil.

BUT - you gota be there in the end. Regardless of any arrangement they had with Germany they very nearly let him go straight into another car.

I voted for Felipe Guimaraes from an objective point of view, but really I loved Narain Karthikeyan's repeated attempts to overtake in unlikely situations. He was probably never going to make it, but he had the skill to rescue the car without going off. Not just A1GP but motor racing everywhere needs more drivers like him and Takuma Sato!
