DBA4-03S/zytkek (aka reynard 02S)
Just been looking at the latest pictures of the car on Fast Details, I never realised quite how low the car is, tlak about cutting down on cross sectional area...
Also must say, i think i prefer this colour scheme, was never much of a fan of the horrid purple/yellow from last year. Regards Ed |

That paint scheme makes it seem lower than it really is as well

Defiently is lower than the MG around the sidepod area, and if you look closely you can see the the cockpit/safety cell is not flush on the 'passenger' side, in fact slightly raised. Kinda reminds me of the low deck height of the Panoz LMP-07, in a weird bored student kinda way :P

Yeah, hope that won't be a judge of it's success...
I have to say, it isn't exactly attractive. |

I think it looks great compare to MG.....this is probably the first long-tail-ish 675 car in the class's short history....

I like the DBA a lot...has unique lines that are clean...
I also like the MG-Lola, but this has more style |

I don't like excessively low sides, it makes it look like an aircraft carrier.
I much prefer the MG |

The air grabbed by the sidepods simply goes out the rear of the car.

Like on the Audi, BMW LMR, and pretty much every other contemporary LMP
Exceptions i can think of are MKIIIC, Caddy, and Panoz. |

Does anyone else think that livery looks like the Grateful Dead logo?

It's a Chinese word(well in this case used by Japanese, since they do use a lot of Chinese character...), like the one on the driving suit...it says falcon...

A very similar design was on Hyanari Shimoda's formula renault car last season. Probably the falcon symbol is related to his backers.

By the way, is John Nielsen's car the only one of its kind? Or are they going to build another?

well if i remember rightly, it was designed to compete in both 900 and 675, but as reynard went bust, it's only been left to others to pick up the programme. Hence probably why the 675 programme
