And while I take a short break from writing my reports (I can see this being a late night) thanks to all the competitors in the NW Championship (and well done to all of those who have won pots). As I said earlier this year I really enjoyed coming to Oulton and being made to feel so welcome.

Obviously particular thanks to Diz for being so helpful and to Nat Murphy for the cake (very tasty again today, and I'm fairly sure there was no one lurking with a camera).

OK then Ray. Congratulations to yesterday's Class C winner. What a wonderful fuel calculation by Nick and the UCLan crew to have you run out on the slowing down lap.

Good job I've found that my hotel on the Isle of Man has 'free' internet access and I won't be having 10/10ths withdrawal symptoms.

Well done Champs. Excellent standard this year as always in the North West and long may it continue. Hopefully with everything sorted for next year, I'll be back giving it some for the North West pre '90 Championship!!!!!!!

Cheers Diz. Always helpful, always friendly, always accomodating. **** jokes though. You need to brush up. I'll send a few more your way.

Did you hear the one about...........Maybe later

I really think the NW has took a turn for the better in respect of all the drivers getting to know each other and helping each other. The paddock is a friendly place to be and with the talk of next years new cars and drivers coming in, it really looks as though it's gonna be the Championship to be involved in.

See you at the Festival for the curry night whoevers going?

To echo Diz's comments well done from the commentary box!

Next year lets have all the media sheets permanently and big thanks to Diz who is "Father figure, moderator, wit??,raconteur etc to all"(also official series food tester)

Jason scan your picture and post it on here for every one to see as its brilliant mate.

Diz well done mate for all your efforts this year and Diane for helping with the Moose mobile.

Ian Sowman for all the hard work he has put in this year and also Chris Yellowracer77 for starting up the ClubFF1600 site.

From a marshal's perspective, thanks to all the guys & gals involved. You've scared us, you've joined us on the bank, you've fed us & you've certainly kept us busy - many a marshal has earned an upgrade signature thanks to you - but above all you've entertained us with some great racing!

Special thanks to Diz for his efforts in bringing drivers & marshals together; now if we can just persuade certain drivers that they don't need to pop in & visit us in the middle of a race.......

Congratulations to all who beat me this year (Too many to list) Well done to all the post 86ers who never failed to put on a good show and thanks to all the marshalls and BRSCC gang for all their good work.
I should take this chance to thank Dave Hart and the rest of the Wirral Mafia for all their help this year but I am pre-occupied with trying explain my new signwriting to my friends in the congregation at Kingdom Hall.

Can I echo everyone else's comments:not only congratulations to all the winners but to everyone who made the championship what it is: the best in the uk

All the drivers have contributed to this years series well done to everyone

to all the marshals, organisers, Chris for instigating the fabulous clubff1600 website, Ian Sowman for his tireless work for the "cause" and to diz for his never ending enthusiasm for anything FF1600.
