Joe Fan should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridJoe Fan should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid

Kyle Petty's son Adam is attempting to make the field for the Winston Cup race at Texas this sunday. So far, in the first round of qualifying, he qualified higher than his father and his grandfather's #43 car driven by John Andretti but he is not guaranteed a spot in the field since he qualified lower than 25th (33rd). We will have to wait and see tomorrow in second round qualifying if he makes the field. Do you think they will take the keys away from him so that they can make the field? Texas has a pretty big purse!
