A great finish. However, Shu not winning (bad product to drive) and extended time knocked down the overall rating from a 9 to 8. I have seen F1 performances in worse weather.

A brilliant race marred by the excessiveness of the Safety Car.

A superb race and easily a 9, the race had everything.

9 from me - again the over-reliance on the safety car prevents me from thinking it was the perfect race.

9 - the beginning was boring, the middle two hours dismal, but the rest more than made up for it.

9 for me - such a long stoppage under the red flag made it feel more "real" - shame about the amount of time under the SC but I can understand why. Don't think that I agree with starting the race behind the SC but it seemed that most of the drivers asked about thought it was a good idea so there you go.
Plenty going on outside of that, great to see some standout performances in difficult conditions and such a race reminds you of what a wild beast an F1 car is - enjoyed it. |

9 from me. One of the best races I have ever seen. Not bothered about all the safety car malarky - maybe its was out a bit too long (only 2/3 laps though) on the restart, but hey ho, the end result was one cracking race. Probably won't have been so good if it hadn't stayed out!

4/10
Racecraft killed by DRS . It really is a shame that someone who has to defend becomes defenseless thanks to DRS avalibility to the overtaker. And to call this great racing makes it even worse |

A marathon in more ways than just the weather . The ability of the BBC team to keep attention over such a long period of time merits a 10 . Jenson Button merits a 10 ( Lewis Hamilton scored the 0 he deserved ) . I sat for 5 hrs. in a chair - and that merits a 10 !

I was at work for the first part of the race & the long stoppage so was pleasantly surprised when I turned the TV on just as the race was about to restart! I can't really comment on the bits i missed but the race from the restart was mesmerising. Even my wife sat & watched it with me, getting all excited over Button's drive! So a 9 from me (nearly gave it a 10 but couldn't quite bring myself to do it!!)

You have saved your Sunday's, because you obviously have no need to watch F1 any more. Really - just DONT WATCH IT. You will only disappoint yourself. There are many other televised series, watch those instead. The rest of us will feel so much better that you are enjoying your racing, rather than the DRS travesty that means you no longer have to have any racecraft whatsoever in F1.

I say a 8 for me because I was able to make my very own pit-stop during the long red flag and i was getting a bit worried it was going to be half points but lucky the race restarted and cue a British winner!

I thought it was great (for a change) as I watched it up until it was stopped and watched something else, flicking back now and then until it was restarted.
A 9 from me. |

Give it a 9, the fact that Vettel was pressured enough into a mistake by a faster car catching him was the icing on the cake and proof of the DRS concept. Pity Schumacher didn't get the second which I think he earned, but that's racing! He wouldn't have been there in the first place without the opportunities brought on by the tyres and DRS. Probably the best race I have ever seen. Magic!

8 from me...too much safety car for too long. I appreciate there's a level at which it really is pointless to race when all we'll get are cars aquaplaning into walls, but these are the best drivers in the world and they should be able to adjust to the conditions, which they probably would have done if left to get on with it.

37% of the race was behind the safety car, so those laps score 0. 63% of the race was very good, meriting 8 or 9 out of 10. Therefore I scored it a 5 overall.

I gave it 9, because the last 40 laps were the best I've seen in ages. Obviously, without the earlier shenanigans it would have been 10.
