2002 Bathurst
Watching the 2002 race again on Supercars YT- you have to say that was a pretty impressive example of damage control nursing that to the end with the engine overheating. Skaife had such a steady hand guiding that and his mechanical awareness really shines through establishing a bit of a cushion and letting it run out just a little to get home. Whether you’re Ford, Holden or both you have to salute that as an amazing drive.
