Great news for Thompson, and a top effort by Collard + Buxton out qualified Eaves

Muller at the back of the grid..mmm..Race 1 should be entertaining enough. (what did happen to Muller there?)
Oh and well done to Rob Collard!! For anyone who's wondering, Paul Wallace's Astra ended up with a cracked driveshaft. |

Muller broke down.
Good to see those results. Chilton is really showing promise now. |

Yeah, one forth place on the grid, stunning!
Yes I am being sarcastic, it's reasonably good, but considering how far he's been of Neal and Morrison all season, I wouldn't attach anything to this performance. But Rob Collard in his 2year old car beat all but 2 of the works cars. That's impressive (like most of his season) in any ones books. |

Behind Thompson and Neal the tiems are really close. O'Neil seems to be a waste of the works Vauxhall this weekend.
Proton slightly flattered to decived in the end. Leslie ahead of Bennett is the natural order though. |

great qualifying by Collard, showing he can take the fight to the works cars on a clear lap.
Tommo should win the first race tomorrow, with Neal behind and I hope Collard comes in 3rd. |

Well impressed with Collard. He's been threatening the top guys for a while now and just couldn't hold it in the races. With a shot right at the front here's hoping he can throw a spanner in the works and mix up the order a little. Well chuffed for Buxton qualifying that far ahead (in terms of time differential) of Eaves. Looking like a good race day that's for sure.

Again I believe Mr Eaves has some ballast following his Brands podium.
Still a good effort from Danny, that gap isn't entirely down to ballast. |

Ahh, my apologies, I completely forgot all about that. Get tied up in the leaders sometimes I tend to forget the other championships being run.

Does anyone know what the cause of the Red flag was during Qualy.....since it looked like it would chuck it down, we sat in the grandstand with the roof on it (final chicane)
Halfway through the session the red came out...was it just Muller in an awkward spot? |

Muller was stuck on an awkward corner so we believe it was for that. Once he'd been pushed to the side the session started again.

He had stopped just on the inside of Coppice. Made up for it though didn't he. |
