Looking forward to this one and hopefully the variety of races on offer will make up for missing out on 750MC at OP this weekend.
The MSVR website has the timetable and info up but no details yet on entries. Hopefully a fair few will make the journey up to sunny north wales (ok this is a lie at the moment) and have a great weekend. http://www.msvracing.co.uk/cars/calendar.aspx |

I'll be there from Thursday night for Fridays test day but wont be around for the race weekend as I have to drive down to Hereford on Friday evening for a weekend of rugby and beer!

The southern version of the code is indeed rather jolly and much to be enjoyed.

I hope the weekend went well for all that were there. I could only do the Friday test day but what a day it was. Had my 3rd fire of the year (a radical) then got 3 hot laps at lunch time in a radical (and yes, i did wonder if it was going to end in smoke and flames!) Thanks to the 3 drivers and teams that gave up their lunch break to give all the marshals a few hot laps. The sight of "H" climbing into and out of a radical was likened to Captain Mainwaring from Dads Army!

Was cold and wet, the racing was lacklustre.
Sunday night camping in the shed in the remains of a hurricane was rather interesting, even with the shelter of the scroot bay it was still a bit rocky. |

I do indeed remember that lunchtime. Bryce was a star for taking us out. The car must have been a pig to drive with all that ballast the likes of me and you provided but that didn't stop him hurling the car around.

...and when I got in, the air intake (right behind my head) kept holding me back haha. Then the engine would start to cut out and he'd give me a rollocking, in a nice way of course.
Great fun and a very nice gesture! |
