My Son came in this morning and asked if the V8s were racing at Abu Dhabo this year.

Apparantly some app on his iPod had suggested it to him.

Was there originally an announcement to race at abu Dhabi or is it a left over from last season?

FPV8U should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
T8 would make the most sence.

Hallam @ Tekno is a massive step down in team stature with his recent history being Holden Racing team - Michael Waltrip Racing in NASCAR and Mclaren F1.

Unless Tekno are planning on leaving the T8 fold and going on their own Hallam seems a bit overqualified.

amateur drivers, amateur officials, and cowboy marshals racing on dinky tracks.

Why would the WTCC be our main series?

If we used their ruleset, Super2000, we would have our own drivers, own officials and own marshall's racing on our own tracks.

And wasn't V8Supercars linked to racing at Macau a couple of years back?

i guess thats because its the world touring car championship and so we would be barracking for those drivers, what a joke of a series

will add separately, hope fer (or triple 8) take a lesson from the nationwide series when they win the championship. change of tyres and we have yellow smoke

No 3 wins another championship, some emotional people around

Campell Little Leaves FPR...

... with Mr Nilsson also going (to HRT) and Mr Small apparently (according to AA) off to RCR in NASCAR next season...

Will there be anyone left at FPR next year?

Meantime, wonder if Mr Courtney's alleged new engineer has handed in his notice yet, to get into the spirit of gardening leave... whilst in the middle of trying to secure his almost-pensioner driver a long awaited 4th title?

Presuming any of this actually happened...

If Mr Moore does in fact find his way to Clayton, he'll most likely be Mr Tander's engineer.

Erebus Testing SupaShock... with Tim Slade

While other teams are hiding their 2014 developments from their departing drivers, Erebus is handing the testing & development duties to Mr Slade, who is off to WP next year.

I suspect there are drivers who would prefer not to be used as the guinea pig during the last race weekend of the year.... and I think it's probably a fair bet that reason is probably why they're rolling the dice on Slade's car and not Holdsworth's.
