Bennett Fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I just sold my MX5 for an Evo 7. Just got the turbo to modify now and the weight reduction stage 3.

I've just read the 'Power' review of GT3 and I have to say it is the worst written piece of drivel I have ever read. The "writer" sites a major problem of the game being that it does not accuately display the 300 mph speed that the speedo gives. Well der' thats because your doing 300 km/ph, you fool!! He also complains that the F1 cars can be tuned to deliver 1800 bhp is incorrect. The cars are based on 1980's cars which with the turbo's could reach such levels of horse power. He gives it a poor 8 out of 10 and finishes by saying that the game it self just isn't fun. This guy is clearly not a fan of racing games so why on earth did Power get him to review the damn game. I just hope it is ignored by the those who have bought this unbeleivably inaccruate review.

Any have any ideas on how ot fix a really badly understeering Evo VII? I've turned off ASC, upped the camber, lowered the rear downforce - still understeers like a dog, especially on lift off.

BTW, some of you may appreciate this interview with the guy who designed the game: link

I've now got a fully tuned 581HP Lancer Evo VII (Cheapest road version), and I've won the Beginner 4WD cup & GT World Championship. I've stuck dirt tyres on and I'm just under 80% of the way through Rally mode. If I complete that I get the Escudo, which will make Endurace League no problem. Then I start winning the F1 cars

My Beetle RSi is now over 400bhp and goes like the clappers - unfortunately it has serious steering problems, for instance it is incredibly unstable out of the corners, but that should be solved with a few more upgrades and a bit of tweaking.

JonBoyG, the steering is improved a great deal by reducing that stability manager thing - the higher it is set, the harder the car is to turn, and it is also less powerful.

I've got the Escudo by beating Rally mode - must go and try it out!

Probably the easiest way to get a good car, though some of the races are tricky. Your best bet is to get a decent road car (I used a 581HP Lancer Evo 7) and pop dirt tyres on. For the wet races on SS route 5, use Super Softs, they're a great help.

I won the seattle endurance but they did not give me the F1 car . It was one of the four blacked out. I got a Tommey Kaira ZZII instead which is fantastic though. With 953 bhp I'm now giving the proffessional GT World Championship a shot with a hope that winning that will give me an F1 car.

I've got an F1 car!!!!! !!!!! I got it by winning the proffessional Dream Car Championship. It kicks ass, the only trouble is you can't upgrade it at all but with 794 bhp as standard and incredibly good breaks, who cares!!! 1 down 5 to go.

I'm guessing you've got to be at a certain point through the game before you get an F1 car. My game status is about 34% at the mo.

Wanna know how these F1 cars perform? Well I'll tell you anyway .

I did the super speedway in 27.032 seconds and Mid-feild (I think) in 56.987 seconds. These things are so fast!!

I'm 2/3 of the way through the Seattle enduro at the moment, but I think choosing soft tyres was a mistake - I have topit every 3-4 laps or the Vertigo becomes undrivable. I'm still 2 min in the lead though!

Do you need an S license before you get one of the F1 cars? I know you need it to enter the series that let you win one, and I've done 2 of the enduro races without joy.

The S license tests are really getting to me - I've done 1 and 4, and the rest seem beyond me, which is odd, because i got all of the GT2 S licenses in a day.

The MX 5 makes a good first car (it's RWD afterall).

The Beetle. Front drive so never spins. Gorgeous to handle, very responsive and nicely heavy rather like the Civic. It's fast too. Perrrrrfick.

I now have it. Fantastic, I bought the Toyota Teureno, cheap, light weight and the same power as the MX-5.

The only thing that I have found disapointing is the lack of cars compared with the previous two games, but anyway the graphics and game play make up for that.

I now have both the F1 car types having spent the last week doing the GT Formula championship which is the longest in the game (I hope). It is ten races long with the first nine taking anything between 30 and 45 minutes to complete. The final race is then 78 laps around Monaco which takes about 1h45mins. Although it is very, very long the racing in this league is the closest and hardest fought in the game. Also (it may just be me) it seems that the AI of the F1 cars is better than the road cars?

All that work has GT3ed me out for a while and I bought Red Faction yesturday which is superb!!. (anyone else got it?)

DO you need to have copleted the S license to get the F1 cars? I've won a couple of the enduro races, btu didn't get an F1 car with either. I'm stumped on the S license at the moment.

On another note, I've just won the CLK touring car. Finally something that handles nicely - just the right amount of grip and it doesn't understeer.
