Still undecided as to whether to go to this (free entry through MSV season ticket, but an extra 1/2hr+ drive each way) or the MGCC at Silverstone (shorter drive but £15 entry).

I'll probably decide just short of the A14 Huntingdon junction as to whether to turn left or go straight on.

Think yourself lucky you dont have to load up a car, parts, drive the same distance with a truck / trailer, unload everything and set up when you get there, and then after racing do the reverse process.

Thankfully although when we go to a race meet we normally pack food etc that would last a year.

My dad used to do that trecking when he was racing.Still got the trailer, tyres after 20 years of sitting idol.Oh and the Sparco race suit that luminous purple and green (It definetly stands out &#128513.

Don't know.

There seemed to be some signs that, this year, taking cars around the outside of the circuit might be more restricted and I got the impression that bikes might not be encouraged either.

If you can live with using the infield and shorter walks then the tunnel under pit straight is open but these days quite well hidden. Good viewing with less fencing.

I had hoped to get to Donington for the season opener but logistics on the domestic front do not permit. Have great day everyone, weather looks very favourable

GP ,Dave and a good few tenth lurkers came by for a cgat as well . Managed to get a result for Taraschi still a few jobs to sort but had a lot of fun in the race diceing at the back . Reading won as well so happy days . Night all and don’t forget we loose an hour tonight . 😀

Home at midnight.....could have done with another day there!...
Grrrreat racing, Cameron Jackson won with Ben Tusting 2nd and young Pierre Livelystone in a shaky 3rd. 9th to 3rd covered by a second, tight fight. The rest of us also had fun/
Radio Caroline Over50 1-3 went to Ted Pearson, Rob Smith & Brian Morris. G;night.

Thanks Grant. It did lift the wheel once then!! Was that taken at Coppice? I was battling with understeer most of the time.Found if I used the kerb there it was better. Thanks Ian for the tea and good to catch up with a few old friends.

Yep, Coppice.

I think that was the only lap with a display of the 'correct' attitude but there were a couple of laps where other cars obscured my view.

Here is the other extreme.

I see what you mean about understeer, Robyn! Good looking car, though.

Bit of fine tuning, maybe?
