Looking for info on this single seater
I recently purchased this group of parts / Tub Chassis was abandoned by previous owner ... 30 + years ago . Along with this were a pair of 914/6 Porsche. so there is some mixing of parts . Car has nickle plated roll hoop and unique front control arms (also plated ) tub is buck rivets and chassis is tig welded . this does not look like a 1 off garage build . Brass tag states 73 FSV 03 . Im open to ideas on this one I have restored many Vintage t/a cars but this is my 1st open wheel car . and the search for the Id and history is just part of the fun. Thanks for any help !

car has been identified as the Nickle raced by earl nicewarner in 1972 1973 / if anyone has seen any photos of the car in this period it would be great to see them .

Daytona 16th Talledega 4th Road America DNF Riverside 9th Leguna Seca 11th 3 points total 5th in SCCA FSV in Northeast Divisional Championship For 1972: Sebring 11th Watkins Glen 10th Road Atlanta 9th Road America 15th Lime Rock 18th 1972 SCCA Nationals May 17th at Cumberland, Maryland 1st May 30th at Lime Rock Park, Connecticut 2nd. 1976 SCCA Nationals June 27th at Summit Point 3rd; July 18th at Watkins Glen 2nd and August 22 at Summit Point 4th. In 1977 Nicewarmer moved to Formula Ford. |

Nickle car was raced from 1972 - 1975 then Nicewarner changed to Formula ford ...... any one know about the FF ?
