FRenault looks a VERY Different beast to drive in comparison with FPA. The audi engine in the FPA is turbo'd and has a certain amount of lag. It takes a while to get used to it, and if most of your recent experience and success has been in a turbo car, your first outing in a FR would be difficult to get to grips with IMHO.

Is he going to stick at it? Would be good if he can.

What happened to the beagle after you unmasked him JR? Shame of being caught disguising PR as a scoop force him off to test cigarettes, shampoo etc? or did he join the hunt?

No we crossed swords before a month or two ago and he apologised for what he wrote (and so did I) and I think he's a jolly good bloke!

If their is successful and wants to spend his money that's his choice and I've also since noticed their company name on other cars which must be good...

JR, glad racecarsdirect.com is updating on a regular basis

Yep it is true. Turns out my mechanical knowledge isnt as good as it should be and due to work commitments Im no longer able to spend 2/3 evenings a week preparing the car for races etc. So JEDI will be running my car for me, and I'll just turn up and drive. Lazy I know, but when I worked out the cost of my time being spent tinkering with the car, it was good value to hand over the transport and mechanical reigns to John and the factory.

Aha now I see JR, had a look at that old thread. Nasty injury to the beagle... btw beagle why that username? Nothing to do with the mid 80s F3 car with the beam axle I dont suppose?? How I would love to track that car down.

Ryan did pretty well in FRenault I thought - mid way up the grid on his first weekend and fighting past people all the way. Damn impressive for someone who it's been said here 'isn't a real racer'.

He seemed to do a lot better than Morrow?

Both Ryan and Adam are gutsy and pretty fast. More than that is Ryan's improvement - he seems to have come on leaps and bounds since he did FPA last year.

As for money - the same money that is giving Ryan the oppotunities he's got is also being used to help a lot of young drivers in racing.

Thats a little harsh considering Jamie has done a few races this year and Lewis has done many in FPA.

Also Consider the difference between FPA and Zip..

Beagle is the name of one the aeroplanes i fly - Beagle Basset.

The boy done well at brands - its furkin' close racing i think he was 0.6 or so off pole and in 14th place on the grid.

F3? well thats a different thing altogether.

Btw the beagle is beagling as strong as ever! you may evn see an appearance at castle coombe then again cigarettes and shampoo may come a'calling. (ghinzani i dont get it?)
