Good to see the LADA's in private hands.
Never heard of Yann Ehrlacher.

He is Yvan Muller's nephew. Maybe this will help

Yann Ehrlacher is the son of Yves Ehrlacher (Strasbourg / Lens footballer) and Cathy Muller (manager of Exagon, sister of Yvan Muller).

He won the 2014 Mitjet 2L and 2015 Mitjet Supertourisme.

If I were the promoter of the WTCC I try to get some money for Thompson (put him to Campos) and to D'Aste (put him to ROAL). RML will not do too much developement for 2 cars.

That's a good lifeline for the series that there will still be Ladas in the series, they need the variety

Urcera was only predicted to be in as a one-off in Argentina alongside his TC2000 commitments, but as there's no clash I guess it's possible - thought they'd prefer Guerrieri after his efforts last year, but that all seems to have gone quiet now

Yann is a son from a previous relationship? IIRC Exagon is/was owned by Cathy Muller and her husband.

I think the 16th car in the entry list will be the Campos Chevy. I don't know whether the car will run any race (except Argentina of course), with Urcera, or with somebody else. Maybe with different drivers at (almost) each round, or it will be only a phantom entry like NIKA last year.

I hope. But as I know, the RC Motorsport is almost the same as the Lada WTCC team, without the factory support. So I'm not sure if they have enough money to sign Tarquini.

Guerrieri now confirmed for a half season at least with Campos - they're still trying to secure a drive for the whole campaign - so if the Urcera deal comes off as well, it suggests they've managed to get one of the other Cruzes for themselves (most of them were owned by the drivers rather than the teams apparently), so could be another entry there?

13 and a half car seems fix. 3 and a half possible, so may bethere will be a 16 or 17 car grid.

I doesn't think if there more cars will be in the grid. Campos maybe sign an Asian driver for the rest of the season (or retains Guerreri if he permors well), RC Motorsport find somebody for the second Lada, and that's all.

From what I've read elsewhere Filippi owned his car rather than Campos, so maybe his departure to SLR has allowed them to buy it from him outright? Same situation with Chilton, Demoustier and Valente apparently, so it seems a shame that these cars (which, along with the two Munnich own, I'm sure would still be competitive) are being left idle by drivers who have no intention of racing them themselves when they could in theory bolster the grid numbers. Here's the link...

No, Cerqui has no personal sponsor to do the Wtcc. He will focus again with BMW and probably in the Italian GT championship.
