RIKB should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Circuit promotors, BMP have finalised their take over of the BTCC from TOCA. The conglomerate made up of British circuit owners had won the contract to run the BTCC from 2002. They have now finalised the terms of a deal to take over the current incumbent, TOCA, who have run the series since 1992.

The future of the series has been somewhat uncertain over the last year, but now, as BMP assumes full control they will be pressing forward with plans for the future, and an announcement on new rules etc. can be expected soon.
