GTs for the first time eh? Shame all the good cars are starting to pull out of BGT - Xero's Corvette included, and the Ultima (see my avatar) only doing selected rounds, not sure if they're at Thruxton or not. Plus LNT have engine probs with their TVR's - bad time for a first GT meeting I guess!

Ah well, as long as there's some racing on the Sunday i'll be happy! And some sun would be nice! Anyone know who'll be turning up at Thruxton? I love the look of the Morgans - The kind of thing i'd expect in a 2005 ZZ Top video!

SeaneyC, you'll have the Morgan, Ferraris, Porsches, a Marcos, BMW's, a Monaro each day to name but 6. They're good races too, you'll enjoy it.

Unfortunately looks like i have to give the Saturday a miss, payday Friday, and then picking up my shiny new laptop at the weekend woohoo! Hope i enjoy it, always thought that "Real cars (yeh real expensive!)" were more impressive than single seaters, don't really know why though!

try here: http://www.barc.net/timetables/dtt2005122.htm may not be completely accurate, but the support races are usually the ones that get swapped around

Seems strange to have a short race then have a massive break for pit walk/church etc.? Oh well, looking forward to it, should be there nice and early on Sunday if all goes to plan.

As there's only the one race before the break and I've got a 2 1/2 hr drive (at least) to get there, it means I can leave home at a sensible time (about 0730 to 0800) and still see most of the action.

Think of us officials who need to be there for the race, then get stood down for an hour.

There's the FF race to start it off on Sun am, church break and then GTs - which is great because it means lie-in as F3's aren't till 11ish!! Woohoo!
