Putting JP aside for a moment, I feel a bit sorry for Warren Scott who clearly wanted the drivers title to go to BMR - after all that investment and effort he has put into see it evaporate because Smith wanted to play hard man in Race 1 and ignore team orders- hence his 'humble' apology. I doubt we will see him at BMR next year.
Smith knows what Warren has spent in cash and effort to get that team where it is , it was a stupid selfish act from which actually he hasn't benefited. Actually it was probably Knockhill and Silverstone where Plato lost the title after the early season good run , but whilst he was still in the title hunt at BH - Smith should have kept to the agreement, apologising AFTER the event is too little to late. If I were WS I would be spitting tacks for a week or more...! |
