It depends on the accuracy you want. There are systems out there but not designed for motorsport but could be used if you don't mind an extra 0.5 kg but the antenna is the important bit as some of these can be quite big. RTK correction systems can give a positional accuracy down to about 0.04m but there are systems that will give a positional accuracy of about 0.2m that should suit.

Best thing for driver line analysis?

GoPro camera and a lap timer. Make sure the GoPro can see the laptimer and the drivers view. Job done.

How do you mean overlay? Most video editing packages can overlay videos, with one "see through". Could also be side by side.

Easiest thing is to have one camera fitted so that it can see the dash and the track (and the steering wheel).

Overlay three video laps to see where variation occurred and why it is happening. I can do that with squiggly lines.
