Worth noting that AmD and Hollamby seem to have made another step forward - not just a qualifying fluke either, practice too. Good stuff.

Probably because the trackside cameras are massive, and the cameraman can't reach the lense when its hanging over the end of the stand.

Great win for Tom, both those Focii look planted. maybe the extra weight of the LPG tanks help the balance in the wet? Also, Owy charging though was awesome to watch!

Awesome win - two in a row for Chilton!

Can he make it three?

Does that extra-weight plays the same role in wet conditions?

BTCC just posted on Twitter than Chilton's car was found to be underweight so he's lost the win to Tom O-C

Yep, confirmed. It pushes Owy closer to Plato's lead in the championship, and makes 0.009 secs between TOC and Flash the closest in BTCC finish in BTCC history.

Update: The initial message was that his car was found to be underweight, something that has been changed to that it was too low in the after race control.

ANyone know what happened to Owy?
On the grid just before the short TV break he was talking with Louise the presenter, then missing at the start? Hardly got a mention until about 1/2 way through when they went "oh, Paul O'Neill seems to have vanished"....
errrr there was a big gap where his car should have been on the grid!
Gutted for him, especially after Race 1 & 2 performance

O'Neil had engine problems on the warm up lap and never got to the grid.

If you were looking to sponser a car at brands you'd pick the safety car for the exposure it got.
