Lydden entry

Just seen on rallycrossuk website the entry list for bank holiday monday.

http://www.rallycrossuk.com/pdf_file...Entry_List.pdf

One big name missing from the supercars is JMC, anyone know why he's missing.
Think i heard somewhere that proctor and bellerby are in barbados.

Good to see Simon White back out in s/mod, no mike boak or mike seller though
Also i see binksy is supposed to be out in the revised mini..

Also a couple of stock hatch drivers missing from the list.

It'll be interesting to see the difference in pace of GT's 307 now that it's been tweaked a bit more - the two Lydden meetings being so close together should allow a good comparison.

Good to see Simon White back - the Clio looked really good last year so hopefully it'll be fighting for a win in Supermodified (which looks pretty open with no Bellerby - potential for some great racing there). Julian Godfrey is there in stock hatch - I wasn't really expecting to see him out there after the damage at Pembrey.

Bellerby and Proctor are in Barbados for the Rally sprint

McCluskey has an engine in lots of tidy bits after it blew at Pembrey, so he won't be there.

Don't know about Boak this year, her has missed the first 2 rounds, any one know why?

Sellar is another one who has a blown engine, but should enter and have a new one for the event.

A bit of a long shot here, but does anyone know whether Craig Brown will be at Lydden? He's not on the entry list, but is he still coming?

Regarding supermods, it should be a good days racing, especially if both the new Fiestas turn up; it'll be interesting to see how they go in comparison to already-developed machinery like the Clios etc.

Also, can I echo the above sentiments that it'll be good to see Simon White back on track. Looking forward to some more mad sideways action from him...preferably pointing in the right direction this time!

Also, does anyone know who this Andrew Jordan fellow is? I'm sure the name rings a bell, but I can't place him...

Ahem. Carry on.

I'm surprised Julian bothered - I thought he was moving to Supermodified? I assumed he was starting the season with the stock hatch as the supermod wasn't ready. Given the amount of effort required to build a new car I'm surprised he didn't just push on with the supermod and get that out asap.

same situation as us really it was easyer to get the Nova back out than rush the polo... As has been pointed out there wasnt much wrong with his car, that and 205 spares are common as muck.

Craig Brown, Tony Lynch and Derek Clark all entered but not on the original list due to brain fade on my part.

Jess Gwynne late entry in the juniors.

Mike Boak did not enter Pembrey for work commitments, presume same again this time.

JMC had intended to enter but the repairs after the fire in the engine bay caused too much damage to be fixed in time for this event.

Practice starts at 09.00, and racing begins straight after practice. Somewhere around 09.45-10.00.
