Ten-Tenths 'Scratch' League
SCRATCH LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT
The official start date for teams for the scratch league has been changed to this Wednesday. I myself may have a problem getting on Saturday to let everyone in, and added to that being as these teams will be transfered to the Super league we could use the extra 10 million I think. The start date is Day 1 (Training) of the next GP. I will log in at 5 minutes past midnight (game time) and start the Team. I will then announce it here and that will be the green light for everyone to open up a new team. DO NOT START A TEAM BEFORE THEN, as only teams with a number greater than mine will be allowed in (to ensure we are all even). As long as you start your team within 24 hours from that time (anytime during day 1 training) you will have the same money as everyone else. Although we are grabbing teams this season, the comp will not start until next season. So you can upgrade your car if you like, but anything other than engine is a waste of money. Rules: 1. All teams must be new (see above) - No sleepers 2. You can pick any driver you like 3. Your team must have a name that combines your log-in to ten-tenths - ie : Wrexxx 1 4. The competition will end after the second last round of the season (all cars will then be moved to the Super League) 5. World Drivers Champion will be crowned for the single driver with the highest rank in the game. 6. World Constructors Champions will be crowned by adding the 2 best teams for each player. I will add more rules as we think of them  If you have any questions regarding the Scratch league - post them here. PS We will keep this seperate thread for the Scratch League announcement/rules etc so we dont confuse anyone. |

I would assume we all know this, but just in case pick the money driver this season. You can change drivers if you want next season, but grab the cash this season.

I really looking forward to this. If this goes as well I expect, I may withdraw sleeper cars in future and concentrate on the scratch league.
Season strategy will be the key, not just going fast.

Redblurr Scratch League entries:
redblurr001 (#267,700) I'm running three cars next season; redblurr2004 and redblurr_junior - so that should be one in the Scratch League and the other two as normal I presume? Then all three will go towards the constructors in the "Hall of Fame". |

PRESS RELEASE Wrexxx Racing announces Entry to Scratch League World Championship Well, we are off and running then. The Wrexxx Grand Prix Corporation is pleased to announced its 2 car team for next seasons Scratch League World Championship (SLWC). Team Manager Herman Smilie made the announcement at the teams official launch in Melbourne today. "As a front runner in the super league, we could'nt pass on this wonderful opportunity to expand our 20 car race outfit in what we hope will be an exciting and close run championship. He continued "With the car and budget regulations being equal for all teams, we believe it will our experience alone that pushes us toward the pointy end of the field." When asked about his competitors "We face some very strong competition. Antrodemus, will be our main rival again, but we are looking over our shoulders at a few up and coming teams. We expect Bomn, Driver T & redblurr all to be competitive." "MrV racing is also a concern, those guys just dont know what a blue flag is for" he chuckled.  What was suprising however was his driver announcement. He said that although he had 2 pay drivers in the cars testing at the moment, he hinted at least one them may be replaced before Melbourne. 1 in the Scratch and 2 originals that i'm keeping - is this correct Wrex - they we will have Monkey M running as well as Scratch and that the combined points will contribute towards WCC??

The scratch teams will contribute to the overall league (top 3 cars - after we move them), but I think Cougar is talking about the Scratch League Constructors championship (top 2 cars).
