Surfers Paradise Race thread (RACE spoilers)
Next week see's Surfers Paradise step up for its annual Champ Car spectacular.
 Surfers can throw up a multitude of results as shown by the previous winners list , No one has taken victory here twice but will that change in 2007 ?? It would be nice to keep the tradition (unplanned) of a different race winner for every year of the event....
Mr Power will lift for the event... but not sure if Team Australia can do the same... we shall see

Essential equipment for Surfers Race fans.
Sunscreen of a suitable team colour. Good binoculars for spotting wildlife on balconys Ear plugs. The cars won't worry you, but the F111 dump and burn will. Good rain gear for the thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon. This year you can leave the motion sickness pills at home. They have replaced the MacIntosh Island bridge. |

I think this year we will have a repeat winner by the nmae of S. Bourdais,but this is the lexmark 300 and things dont normally work out the way he want em to,who would of thought that nelson winning last year's race.
I wont be there this year so i 'm hopefully that i will get to see the first repeat winner next year. |

Re watching some of this years action and a good outside bet would be Pagenaud in the 2nd TA car. Pretty competitive and should hopefully be able to capitalise on some of the Surfers good fortune that falls on the mid field runners
