Why wouldn't a reserve show up for Test Days and Scrutineering when they hauled one car there already???

...they would have two cars in the Big Show now...

Sorry, but I can't grasp that decision....

Ive often thought Fab that for a extra support race the ACO should consider a race for GT3 class cars and Porsche cup cars and Ferrari 360 challenge machines etc, would make for a good race IMO, the GT3 cars would still be doing what, 180mph and the cup cars around 175mph I would guess. How would the ACO decide on who was to come to the race? I would suggest getting the top 3 cars from each series from the previous years championship results and inviting them with automatic entries, the rest could be selected by the same process as we have for Le Mans. Make the race maybe 2 or 3 hours long, just a idea but IMO would make for a decent race.

I thought the reserves had to be called up before the end of May. If anyone drops out after that date to bad as the reserves have already been stood down.

Not 100% sure but I have a feeling thats the case.

So before the race day, we know there will not be a full grid.

Must bite my lip about the teams the 'should' have been there

I don't know how ACO choose the support race.

But seeing how busy is the morning (warm-up, ceremonies, motoring cavalcades, VIPs, etc...), there's not a great gap to cram a support race ; that why 45' is a maximum...

Then come :
- the pits question
- the work for the marshalls
- the costs
and probably things I can't even imagine...

The Group C last year was my favourite race support for now... an unforgetable moment...

Check : we're completely OT
