If you do FCY do it for the length of time it takes to a pit stop plus time equal to a number of full laps. That way in theory all cars can pit and maintain position

I think they were expecting the car to be more difficult to recover than it was in this case. It was odd - they dragged it round the corner and it drove off. I don't see why it couldn't have driven off from its resting position?

I "think" they are sweeping the circuit, or at least I've seen road sweepers go by. Maybe cleaning up the muck before it gets dark?
