Given the way this race has been handled, I wouldn't be surprised to see the #63 hit with a punitive penalty for adjusting its BoP illegally.

Put all the cars in a single line and this is what you get.
Did you take notice, SRO ? |

I was holding my breath that a make other than the German juggernauts would win this....But with Lamborghini being Lamborghini, McLarens being Mclarens, and M-Sport strategy, a german car will win this.

Just came back to the stream.
To my surprise...Bob Varsha is doing some commentary for the SRO broadcast. Very interesting to hear that! |

Is the TF Aston finished, or did they get it going again?

Bob Varsha always sounds like he's prepping to head to commercial.

Penalty for Aston number 100 incoming. They just spun at Bruxelles and then came back onto the track and nearly swiped a BMW

All those years commentating for American motorsport broadcasts where you effectively have to cram in 7 1/2 minutes of analysis and reporting before they go back to bloody commercial. Its probably drilled into his brain.....poor fella.
Commentators PTSD? |

I know Grasser are an Austrian team, but they've clearly fully embraced the idea of being an Italian team. Cars running around trailing bits, and they're putting stickers on the spare bodywork. Now it's fixed and the mechanics are jumping up and down, stamping feet, shouting at the driver to leave the pits...as if he's sitting there for giggles.

He speaks completely differently to the Europeans, and it shows up in this sort of coverage. He just says random short statements, like he's not allowed to do a long story or proper commentary because there's not time. It's very odd to listen to in this context.

I've heard worse and more annoying, it's just funny to see the two styles side by side.

Has the rain subsided? Was hoping it would grow a little, but really 2nd-20thish are fairly close. And Vincent Abril is setting an incredible pace in the Natural History Museum compared to everyone else. |
