Oh boy

In honesty the gurney flap should have been done at the first adjustment.

But watch all the Ford fans on FB have strokes today.

I guess Nissan just changed some stuff but it isn't a good look, as much as I think it is necessary.

With the enduro cup almost upon us seems a few teams are going to run retro liveries - Kelly Racing CASTROL https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/08/29...thurst-livery/
- Matt Stone Racing SP TOOLS https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/09/03...t-1000-livery/

Heres a little teaser what they may look like - i have no affiliation with any team just curious what they may look like

Crompton and Todd Kelly both resign from Supercars Commission:
https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/09/07...qKzYIkmNpYqxH8

insinuation is that they were not notified of the latest ZB change, and perhaps don't approve of it.

Truth is this commission oversaw the launch of the Mustang this year which was thoroughly ballsed up.

What has been "ballsed up" is the never-ending handicapping of the Mustang, hence the resignations.

Take it however you will, but Penske is spending the same amount of money as the rest of the field put together basically, Supercars were hopelessly unprepared for the homologation of the Mustang (hello, Penske), and I am starting to wonder if this is lights out.

The Kelly's will go Mustang next year and I can't see anybody else buying a Commodore or trying to develop anything else.

Despite 888's dominance in the overall results, they were always beatable, Scotty in the Volvo, and DJR & FPR both proved it with series wins, and plenty of other people were winning things and taking Jamie close to the wire on his series wins.

Now, Scotty is literally untouchable, with a points system designed to keep things close he could win with 2 rounds in his pocket.

The only reason the Mustangs are not taking up the entire top of the chart is that other than Scotty, the rest can't string a result together. Fabian stinks by comparison, and Chaz must have passed half the field twice this year because he's able to, when he makes a mistake, which is often. The rest don't even rate a mention. 2 has-beens and a guy from a reality TV show that probably should have done something by now.

Not sure exactly what is your point here, but perhaps Roland would have been better off taking his own advice, and built a Mustang; instead of trying to homologate a FWD hatchback into a "Supercar"?

Any links to substantiate this claim? Penske's race teams don't have to turn a profit, but they must financially stand on their own feet.

The exact same could be said for every Commodore team other than 888.
If they were running Mustangs, their results wouldn't improve.
888 have battled plenty of dramas this year completely unrelated to parity.

I like how Roland cant regularly beat other Holdens consistently like in the past but knows that the Commodore is lacking in areas compared to the Mustang. Wonder how he has enough information on the Ford to be able to lodge a successful bid for yet another parity adjustment?

Why is nobody talking about the timing of this Parity adjustment? Fancy that, its Just before Bathurst.

it was put to Ryan Story that the team was spending $16m to run 2 cars and he didn't deny it, in fact his response basically confirmed it without doing so.

And that is why those Commodore cars are running in the teens to 20s, meanwhile the 6 Mustangs of varying quality and driver ability sit in the top 10.

There is no doubt there are a bunch of guys who would leap up the field just like Lee & Will did this year if they were in Mustangs. Plenty of guys better than those two and the equal of Cam & Fabian. SVG and Jamie would belt all 4 of them in an equal car.
