Driver TBA should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Maybe Penske and Ford Performance have spent more than 888 this time.
Perhaps more wisely too.

Sounds like Mr Boost is a little unhappy with how he spent his money...

I'm possibly a bit of a slow learner here, but is this the first meeting where the broadcast has included virtual advertising ? Artificially superimposed trackside hoardings ?

I wouldn’t think so, more likely the public relations machine would have spoken about ‘Super Mustangs’ and how hollow a sports car getting beaten by a family hatch actually is. Pressurise officialdom into second guessing themselves over Mustang homologation

Not illegal, just professional lobbying & posturing...

Work to convert one of DJR Team Penske’s existing Falcon FG Xs into the first Mustang Supercar is underway at the team’s base in Stapylton, Queensland.

Tickford builds also underway
Four-car outfit Tickford Racing has a similar plan, with two chassis in-build that will debut as Mustangs, and two of its current Falcons set to be converted.

https://au.motorsport.com/v8supercar...rcars/4335444/

the new-for-2019 Mustang, with McLaughlin heading into the season in a brand new chassis and Fabian Coulthard running a converted Falcon shell.

2 new Tickford Racing so was it Tickford Falcstang ?

All Tickford 'Mustangs' are currently converted 'Falcons'

Car 17 is the only freshly built COTF chassis that did not first start life as a Falcon

Seems there was a lot of mechanic/crew related issues on maacas car over the weekend, wonder if we'll see a change based on the gravity of his accident and subsequent "dramas"

There should have been a post race investigation into the whole thing. You can't just fly through 3 pit bays of crews, without penalty.

V8 Sleuth via Craig Baird, posted a screen shot of Kelly's incar telemetry showing he braked on impact. Question is, did he release the brake?

Given no action by the stewards, is Kelly not guilty? He coping a huge amount of online hate atm.

I went searching for all the hate but only came across one fella giving Rick a bit, then he copped some back. Everything else was support and attacking the troll.
I'm not facebok savvy so maybe I missed a whole lot
