Is this Film just starring A Banderas or being directed by him too?

I don't think he has ever directed a film before.

Michael Mann would do a very good Senna film - see Heat, The Insider.

I'd pick Benicio del toro as Senna, hes a very good actor, much better than AB.

Ayrton Senna: The Movie

Small column in AUTOSPORT

The life of late triple world champion Ayrton Senna will be the subject of a Hollywood film. Warner Brothers have obtained permission from Senna's family to make the movie after two years of talks. Antonio Banderas will play Senna.

Opinion?

Antonio Banderas/Benecio del Toro - Ayrton

Who to play Prost??????

I know....Gerard Depardieu!!!

And what about Nigel????

Also, although the film would most likely cover Ayrtons final months, would they also look at the supreme battle between himself and Prost? I read that is what the majority of the film was going to cover anyway.

Seems to be a couple of conflicting reports about what the movie will cover, if it happens at all. This rumour has been round a few years now.
