jarama should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
That's my launch in this forum:

Gran Premio de España, F1: Montjuïc '75, Jarama '77, '78, '79 and '80, Catalunya '91 to '99.

Grand Prix de Monaco, F1: 1978 and 1996.

Gran Premio de Barcelona, F2: 1968 and 1974.

Gran Premio de Barcelona, F3: 1968.

F3000: Catalunya, various years.

Rallye España/Catalunya (WRC): 1991 to 1999.

G.P. de España, bikes: Montjuïc '74, Catalunya '91.

I was rallying regularly from 1979 to 1991, so I took part in events such the Rallye España/Catalunya (WRC), or the Tour de France Automobile, Rallye Costa Brava, Rallye Catalunya, Rallye PrÃ*ncipe de Asturias or Criterium d'Antibes, all of them elligible for the European Rally Championship.

All 4 days. If you ask nicely, I'll post a little report here in the next couple of days.

I envy a lot of yunz guys!

I have attended the Canadian GP at......
Mosport Park in 1972,73,76, & 77
Montreal in 1978 thru 1984 and also in 1997

I have attended the USGP at......
"The Glen" from 1973-1980
Detroit in 1986
also have tickets ordered for Indy f1 but haven't heard yet if I got 'em... must admit that I won't be too broken up if I don't get them...... Tony George running the USGP makes me ill.....

Now retired.... I am planning a trip to Europe in the future where me and the missus will follow the "circus".... venues on the "must-see" list are.. Spa, Monaco, O-Ring, Imola, Monza, and hopefully.... Paul Ricard and Brands Hatch if those 2 circuits ever get back their race dates but.....my fondest hope is to be standing alongside Gerard at Tarzan throwing back some cold ones and cheering on the return of Zandvoort!

take care all

Murph, if you ever do visit The Netherlands, you and your family can stay at my place.
You will be very welcome!
I would love to visit Zandvoort with you and let our thoughts wander back in time to the days of Niki, Gilles, Ronnie and Mario.
I could show you the spot were I stood when James Hunt walked by after crashing with Mario Andretti, and asked me for a cigarette.
Or were I sat when I yelled 'go Dan', and Gurney looked up and smiled at me.
Or even the disconsolate surroundings were Roger Williamson lost his life while that absolute hero of a man, David Purley, tried to turn the flaming car upside down all on his own.
Zandvoort has so many memories to me, good and bad. It would be absolutely great to share them with you.

You talked me into it. I'll start a new thread for it. Might have to post it over a couple of days, depends how long it takes to type.
