I have been following the TCR category for the past couple of years and initially I was sceptical, however, last year I actual got off my arse and went and "countered the Horse's teeth"

The more I looked, the more I liked the principles enshrined in TCR, the BOP works pretty much at least in principle to the GT3 BOP, and this ensures that each new manufactures car is homologated on the basis of the known BOP at the time of the homologation process, which ensures that the car as homologated is competitive with all the existing cars. Further parity adjustments are made after the data is analysed after 3 race meeting's, and can be a combination of weight, and or ride height or in some case's boost maximums can also be increased or decreasing.

I strongly disagree with your suggestion that someone buying the latest toy will render the rest uncompetitive, and I suggest you take the time to research the subject in greater depth.

From an organisation point of view, absolutely not, from a car owners standpoint I think its the only Series that can survive here in New Zealand, and now that the TCR series is owned by MSNZ and therefore an overnight a National Championship, with International rules. So the answer is yes, and as they say watch this space....
