Now it remains to be seen which four of these six rounds are going to be a part of TCR International Series 2018.
Because the idea was four events together (International + Europe), two standalone.
BTW, I wish Austria and Czech Republic were included instead of, for example, France and Spain.
ETCC did their teams no favor forcing them to go to Vila Real. OK, Barcelona is no Vila Real, but...
Also, Assen and Spa both present. Is this because of the TCR Benelux demise?

Agree, there are a lot of really good circuits that sadly I never see included on calandars - Navarra, Most, Ledenon, Val de Vienne, etc. but great to see further development from TCR

So it's just become the series that created TCR (Seat Leon Eurocup). There were plans for TC Open this year by those in charge of GT Open and Euroformula but was canned after low entry numbers.

Shouldn't be a problem now as they're not competing against any continental championships, apart from TCR ADAC, TCR Academy, 24h TCES and ETCC (unless this is its rebirth). Surely not 2 main European championships with TCR. GT4 only did it with 30+ grids.

I guess hungaroring date would be modified and it will held in the DTM weekend, because I doubt too much people will be interested to a sole ETCR weekend.

The Series supports the International GT Open the whole season (Assen and Zandvoort excluded), thats Bullshit!

Expect Norbi to do a guest race (no clash with WTCR) and maybe Tassi in ETCR should bring some Hungarian people over

According to hungarian sources Jedlóczky Márk will race in the ETCR with his one car "family" team. Car should be some VW family car.

Yeas, that would raise the attendance, but they still need some spectaculareseries. For example the former Renault World Series (I forget it's currrent name)

Last year he drove an Alfa in the Hungaroring round of the TCR Intl. No chances to see him again with the Giulietta?

Sorry to read that. That cars had very cool sound and good (visible) speed, so they was really great to watch in a WTCC weekend.

Actually a TCR weekends (both WTCR and ETCR) really need some GT series as co-series, to satisfy the local viewers.
