bil588 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

How has F3 gone to just two chassis? Will F3 become another spec series?

No. Teams develop their Dallaras. Take the British F3 grid - few are standard Dallara cars.

So? They are still Dallaras. Teams do that in the IndyCar Series and that is one reason why the costs are so much more than they were in Champ Car's final years.

You asked if it would become another spec series. I said no, as all the dallara are different, self-developed specs.

don't see what the drama is about. it used to be very much a 1 chassis formula until mygale came along and someone took them seriously.

Oh yes, i forgot him. He had a good first season in BF3. I bet John Martin will be racing in Australia soon doing v8s or something.

He wont be. Hes always going to be an mid-fielder. Then all of a sudden he will be placed by someone new who is expected to win. Then it keeps going on and on. It's how it's always been with Alan Jones.

sam bird joins mucke. I am quite happy about his choose, not very because he showed pure speed in gp2 tests( best rockie as i remember) and i hoped he continue that way. Or step up in WSR or F2. anyway i expect top5 from him now and gp2 in 2010.

Mucke sorted nice & early and with quite a lineup (Bird, Wittman, Sims).

So that would most likely mean Bottas to ART no?

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
IMO Bird is season's favourite with that signing. Good for him, he made brave move to F3 ES, prob sucrificed BF3 title?! going through pain in his first F3ES season, but with Mucke signing his def 1 of top favourites of 2009.

Has he got the skill to set-up a race car because he never is at the pointy end of the grid or is it the team that can't get a handel on the car !!

I think it's more the driver than the team. John Martin also has a habit of throwing the car into the gravel alot too. But nevermind, back on topic aye.

2009 F3 Euro Series calendar
May 16-17 Hockenheimring (D)
May 30-31 Lausitz (D)
June 27-28 Norisring (D)
July 18-19 Zandvoort (NL)
August 1-2 Oschersleben (D)
August 15-16 Nürburgring (D)
September 5-6 Brands Hatch (GB)
September 19-20 Barcelona (E)
October 10-11 Dijon (F)
October 24-25 Hockenheimring (D)
This is the 2009 calendar, there's no Pau, it's a shame, but WTCC Pau is clashing with the opening round at Hockenheim with DTM and there's always massive crowd there! Lausitz and Oschersleben are not exactly inspiring tracks, but Dijon would be interesting to see...

I'm sorry to say it, but from a driver's perspective, and they call the shots, that makes the BF3 calendar look pretty dull.

for zandvoort and the norisring alone, surely... that said, the whole of the bf3 calendar added together couldn't come close to the dullness that is oschersleben
