angst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Max Mosley is always saying that the reason he comes out with his (hairbrained) ideas regarding F1 rule changes is that the teams are asked and never deliver any set of regs themselves. So why doesn't he collect the major F1 engineers together and ask them to thrash out something. Maybe with somebody like Eric Broadley chairing (or some other engineer not directly involved in F1). Hopefully then vested interests wouldn't be as much of a stumbling block.
It makes sense to me, but then my head doesn't always work properly.

Actually that makes a lot of sense. I mean you need someone who knows all the technical aspects of an F1 car to suggest changes that will benefit both the sport and the safety.

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
Why not consult the forum members here for rule changes?? We appear to be the most intelligent people associated (in some minute way maybe) with F1. I say bring back traction control. Make the rear wing smaller. And bring back slicks. And make Nigel Mansell our spokesman.
