Is RD the most hated person in pit lane after going from the force to the dark side. And with JW antics over the last couple of weeks is he a close second.

I'm waiting to see how long it is before the Ford fans on this forum go back to calling Lowndes "Clowndes" like they used to when he was back at HRT before he became their golden boy.

note to self, Jim said that after he found out his very good friend from NZ died during the race, Danny Hulme, and the fans didn't like the fact that niether a Ford or Holden won and Booed him on the dias. No that role has been won hands down by TS. At QR. the marshalls were told not yellow unless absolutely nessesscary. Word has it Tim chucked a mental over one yellow flag incident. I wonder if the drivers were aware that the flaggies were hamstrung again by some who continues to set his own rules outside CAMs and the FIA. No TS is the most , not just in pit lane either

WOW settle down dude, it's a joke FFS i know all the reasoning behind 92, i love Jim he is one of the best race drivers that has come out of the southern hemisphere and as you say top bloke i have met him and he is great, the "Gentleman Jim" tag is a very, very fitting one.

fans can be ********s and one thing is for sure they were that day and they deserved everybit of the serve Jim gave them. as you say you would do the same, i know i would and i'm sure even 90% of those booing fans in the crowd would too had they been in his shoes.

as i said it was a joke, smokin'joe said "it took 17 years for Steve to take the tag off his dad for the win in the GTR" and i just said what i did in a joke.

Back on topic.....I see no reason why RD should be the most hated person in pit lane.
It's a business, not tiddly winks. He's doing what's best for his business, which, ultimately is about his sponsors (because they are actually his employer).
He searches for and attracts money from sponsors, by offering them something. That something is exposure, from being at the pointy end of the field.
To be at the pointy end of the field, you go where the most money is (cause that helps you get the best people, equipment etc).
If he gets more money for the pot from another camp - jump ship!

I don't know what Ford are so upset about, at least now they can justify their spend on FPR slightly better - next year they will be one Ford team one spot further up the ladder - albeit behind another Holden team tho!

Now that's an interesting comment and we have all been thinking that T8 will continue their success in commodores but that may not be the case......they may fail.
