Davhut should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Surtees TS 5

This chassis, number 007 and driven by David Hobbs, is pictured in 1970 at Dallas International Motor Speedway (now and industrial estate). The track was long and very flat, front straight also a drag strip plus another half mile it seemed. Cars were at flat stick for seeming ever. Hobbs qualified third and suffered engine troubles for a DNF in a race won by Gus Hutchison in an F1 BT-26/DFV.
That weekend and raceday on July 5 was hot enough to melt concrete, not unlike Dallas in the dead of summer.
