Silverstone circuit changes
It does seem that the changes at Silverstone and the loss of the international circuit is causing on going problems. At one end of the scale there is the old "club" national ciruit, great for smaller club meetings but then there is a big jump to the GP track and the new Arena track so the biggest club and national events are left in limbo in terms of track length.
MG Live! is there next month and the MGCC are obviously having to totally rejig the layout of the displays and paddock etc as well as the races being over a longer (GP) track which means fewer laps and more marshals. I alos see in Safety Fast today that the holding area is not much smaller and won't hold the 48 cars allowed to race. |

What about the Southern Circuit - I have been on it and it is a good circuit and probably same length as old International one... the link between the GP circuit has a chicane on a hump that should catch a lot of cars out so good for speccies as well.....

I think the issue there is that all the infrastructure is around the main paddock and garages etc which makes less useful for bigger clubby events.
