Oh, I am sure they were (at least when 2 was directly behind 1), equal to when 7 was not allowed to pass 8.


It's just that Kobayashi gave them a reason: damage at the back / instability / ... after #7 crashed into us

They had problems before when they couldn't pass the Ford for lap after lap after lap

No Porsche had shorter fuel time. They stopped later so had less to fill.

The Toyota stops were at least 6 seconds longer.

The lead Porsche's stop was around 10 seconds faster than the #8. The 8 stopped first so it had the most fuel.
