Feels like a bad call to pit just before a potential FCY.

I was just thinking there may have been a reason like stint length. Unfortunately there was no highlights package.
We're about to go to commercial I see. Then we'll get back to...the Total...Spa 24...Hours. 1-3 relatively close on track. |

These SCs are just a roll of the dice. It doesn't close the whole grid up, so you end up with weird gaps.
Either close the gaps, or preserve the gaps. Right now, the gaps are dictated by how fast or slow an Am driver in the pack catches the SC. |

Nissan on course to be top 8, and best Non German manufacturer. They've had a sneakily solid run with very little attention. Good outing for the new car.

Two audis are slowly closing in on 99 BMW, 34 BMW is fastest on track by a decent margin lap after lap.

The discussion about the lap count for 51 and 53 has to do with the red flag.
Both were at pit out, rolled back towards their pit box and put at the back of the restart queue. Did they lose a lap, gain a lap or did everything stay equal? |

Did Vervisch just get replaced by Verstappen by the commentators?

Good race, but the rules really remove a lot of the fun.
Nice to see a smaller team win. |

Brilliant result for Walkenhorst, but unfortunately the march towards homogenisation in the name of fairness has taken a lot of the fun out of this race.
