My 2005 Line Up
It is a bit silly posting a 2005 driver line up before the 2004 season has started, but hey! Speculation is fun!
Here's my line-up for 2005 (Wishful Thinking) Ferrari Barricello Webber/Raikonnen/Alonso* McLaren Raikonnen* Who would get this seat if he went to Ferrari? Montoya Williams Webber* Who would get this seat if he went to Ferrari? Button Renault Alonso* Who would get this seat if he went to Ferrari? Trulli BAR Sato ? Toyota Schumacher, R Coulthard Sauber Same as 2004 Jaguar ? ? Jordan Pay driver 1 Pay driver 2 Minardi Pay driver 1 Pay driver 2 * I haven't made up my mind as to who Ferrari might groom to fill in for the newly retired M. Schumacher. It would be a coup of epic proportions if they could grab Raikonnen...thus ensuring both titles in 2005. I know if I were Luca, I'd be in serious talks with Raikonnen for 2005; with a keen eye on Alonso as well. |

If Alonso goes to Ferrari or not, you may look at Webber taking either Renault seat, like I mentioned on webber thread. Massa won't get the Ferrari seat because Fisi will likely beat him. (Ok, so I rate the roman way above his cars. Call me Bias. ^_^)

There's no chance Raikkonen will be at Ferrari.
McLaren have him nicely tied in. |

Oh, not another "Schummy must, will, has to retire, because our guys can't win" thread?
Why can't your boys just go out and beat the best, instead of waiting for him to retire, and then calling themselves the best? If there so damn good, it should be no problem to beat an old man! |
