24thunder should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Should Dale Jarrett...

have let Jeff Gordon back on lead lap?IMO He's too scared to let a driver with J.Gordon's abilities get His lap back. After the race tho Jeff said that He'd done the same thing if situation had been reversed.I believe tho that Dale wud have let most others drivers get their lap back!Any comments?

I think the answer to this question is easy when you realize that he accidently let Jimmie Johnson back on the lead lap and Jimmie almost won the race.

Also, Jeff Gordon has never cut any favors for Dale Jarrett that I can remember. Usually, both were contending for the championship.

Gud points,That's Racin',I guess, just got Me since Jeff doesn't have a point win this season Dale only let Jimmie get His lap back because His scanner was breaking up & Dale thought His spotter was saying to let the #28 back on lea lap,not #48

This may surprise some of you but my feeling is that a driver shouldn't "let" anyone else back onto the lead lap !!!
(not even for a team-mate, it's called racing, not slowing down to help a buddy !!!)

I don't think anybody should let anybody back on the lead lap. Not even teammates. You have to work hard to get to the front, and letting somebody back on the lead lap is like inviting them to come take your lead away from you, something I wouldn't make easy for anybody.

That seems to be the opinion of the majority of fans, seen a lot of posts saying same thing, perhaps a little more linient on drivers that r 2 or more laps down!I still believe that it shows class & sportsmanship to let someone back on lead lap & especially if it's a teammate,IMO!
