I am sure that Ash will do well this weekend, he is good as I have said all along.

My issue is around the comments by some around how the regulars will get their ass's kicked...a bit disrespectful to them really. Same was said of the influx of top drivers coming to Monza, Peter Terting, etc., and that never happened. The regulars in TCR Europe are good and deserve to be treated better.

We will know on Sunday whether that statement is correct or not.

No doubt. Unfamiliar track, but he's a fast learner. Scratch that, he's just fast.

It wasn't meant to sound disrespectful, and I never said that Terting ang guests will win, only that Hyundai won't score any point, but they denounced me.

Remember he quickly he got up the front in his first meeting in the BTCC? Or how he won the Clio Cup at his first attempt? He is that good

Donington GP would be great, I miss when the FIA GT used to visit bringing the ETCC/WTCC with it!

Pole for Tassi in front of Files. Great result for Honda.
Azcona P3, Bokrovic P4, Michelisz P5 with extra weight for guest driver.
Sutton P6 with extra weight and small mistake.
Can't wait for races

Agree. With 20kg of extra ballast.
Both Sutton and Michelisz were faster then Borkovic and Azcona even if they raced with ballast.
But racing was great. Especially after Files retirement.
Bad luck continues for Files, he can't get clean weekend.

Yeah, because you catch and overtake someone because you are slower.

There's something very special about Sutton. If I had a team in any of the popular tin top series worldwide he would be my first choice of driver. Can see he is a different class to most.

I hope he stays in the BTCC for another year or 2 but would be surprised if he's not earning a wage on the world stage next season.

Good controlled race by Halder. Congratulation to Azcona and his team, one of the classic championship win driving consistently all year long. Should be promoted by Seat and drive with Oriola in WTCR

Again Sutton shines, as you said he is a massive talent: quick both in FWD and RWD and he also should go in WTCR in my opinion.

I didn't catch the initial contact that broke the sospension to Borkovic. Vernay did his best in this championship and in this last race, but the car for me has some limits. He should be 2° in the final standings after the retirement of Borko and Tassi. Strange to see Comini struggling so much, hope he will return racing next year here or in TCR Italy to really show what he can do

Good championship! Finally TCR gives back us a proper european touring car championship

Class act ash! 4th and 3rd with not much running in the car and a bit of weight! Look at the full championship table, finished 17th,after two races!
Only a couple of points behind Reece Barr, who's been there all season, alas a bad one for him!
Duel program for Ash next year?

So, comparing the Honda to the Golf. Honda has 1305 kgs, the Golf 1265 kgs (Sutton got an extra 20kgs taking it to 1285 kgs), Honda ride height 80 mm, Golf ride right 60 mm, Honda power 97.5%, Golf power 100%. Hyundai was 1305 kgs, 90 mm and 97.5%. Honda (with Halder 1325 kgs) yet still Honda and Hyundai drivers beat Sutton...

So, having the fastest and lightest car and he can only get P3 against heavier and slower cars that are driven by less experienced drivers, hardly kicking ass’ is it...

I guess, on balance, all we can truly say is that Sutton was the best Golf driver this weekend and nothing else.

And yet World champion Huff in 50kg lighter Golf was just 0.020 faster then Hyundai's in WTCR. On other side Honda surprised both me and Files (he said that). I didn't expect them to be faster then Hyundai.

Also Bokrovic took out Tassi on purpose, he said that himself, he also called Michelisz idiot, so professional...
