questions
hi everyone,
i have a few questions for you good people. I apologize in advance if this isn't the place this should be posted, but i'm finding it very hard figuring out where to ask questions online for racing. First off let me explain my situation somewhat. I reside in the USA but i am originally from belgium. I've been looking into racing schools and have narrowed it down to 2 schools that can give me racing licenses and an opportunity to shoot for a pro career (in F1). One is in the eastern part of the US, the other is near Montreal in Canada. So here are the questions: Is an american or canadian racing license valid anywhere in europe? or in the rest of the world for that matter? If not, what schools would anyone suggest going to in europe? Haven't found anything online for this. Thanks in advance. Raji |

US racing licenses arent valid for competition abroad (but usually are for testing) but once you have a race license from any country its pretty easy to get the equivalent in another country.

There is another option for you here in the U.S. It is the Skip Barber Racing School at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. I don't have info on it but you could probably find it easily on the web.

In Spain and to race in Spain you take the licence with no racing course at all. In any case www.formulaexperience.com can help

Once you have obtained a US licence, then you would need to apply to the ACCUS for an International licence which would be recognised world-wide.
