Grandslammer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Castle Combe 28th August

I must say a somewhat ' entertaining ' day at Combe yesterday.
Although a little undermanned at Post F (Old Paddock),the company was great and nothing serious to deal with, although a few close shaves
Nighthawk, best wishes for the impending arrival and hope all is well

No problem, just a bit of a procession, A few more of each class would have helped hugely.

Was experiencing Race Control and Safety Car for the day.
It's amazing how busy RC can get - 2 phones, radio and people buzzing around you!
Then with Derek in SC for the afternoon - again a busy afternoon. Trying to talk on the radio back to RC while watching cars in front and behind, as well as marshals dealing with incidents...and all at 60-80mph. Much fun!

Well i think the deploying of safety car needs tweeking.
Come to think of it so does the medical car, thought he was gonna get mixed up in the karts.

I think we they didn't realise how quickly the second set of carts would catch up the med car. It was rectified for the second race.

Also in the marshalls raffle at the end of the meeting an apology was made by Adrian on behalf of the Clerk of the Course who admitted he mistook the leader of the FF race for someone else and therefore didn't give the order quick enough.
I salute him for admitting his mistake.
We can all learn from our mistakes.
