hunttheshunt should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

So what is David Leslie doing in 2001 now that he isn't driving an MG? I think he deserves a drive after those excellent performances in the poor PRO MSport Primera at the Silverstone Night Races last year. He's still a bloody good driver and could a fourth Vauxhall drive or a drive in an Alfa or Lexus be on the cards. Doubt it, but it might happen...

PRO said at the end of last year they were looking at the Euro ST series, possibly with Leslie. As far as I know that's still a possibility.

Vauxhall were looking at 'an experienced touring car driver' to drive an Astra-is Leslie the man?

I hope he gets something decent, as well as being an under rated driver I have always found him to be a really nice bloke.

He was a nice bloke-at the Silverstone Night Races last year my friend and i were waiting outside the back of the PRO garage waiting for an autograph while he was chatting to an engineer or someone. He actually stopped the engineer and invited us in, gave us his signature, and wished us a good time. Top bloke!

Hmmm, he gave me a HUGE death stare at Thruxton the other year, but I can't stand the guy and he could probably sense it...
I'd heard too that he could be involved in the Euro STC series but who knows?

Very likely he will be doing sports cars with Eccose Saleen S7R. You may see him at Donington on April 14th

So if Vauxhall do enter a fourth Astra for an 'experienced touring car driver', who does everybody think it will be? If it isnt Leslie, isnt Cleland, and isnt Menu, what about Roberto Ravaglia? Only jokin! What do you guys think?

Just had some info from PRO so thought I'd update this one. PRO will be running a ST Primera in the Euro series, to be driven by David Leslie. Unfortunately DL has a shoulder injury which has held up pre-season testing. A second car is possible if they can find a driver with a suitable budget.
