Oldtimer Festival 2010

As we never seem to make too many comments on the Nurburgring,is there anyone doing the Oldtimer Festival this year,dated for 10>12th Sept.

Not a bad idea! Just thinking of an alternative to Spa for a change.

Obviously depends on race timing John,exactly something I did several years ago. Current planning is to spend a couple of weeks over there,Oldtimer then 6hr.

HRSTR5 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have sent off application forms to race the FJ Lurani trophy round over the weekend, as well as the TR5 in the Nurburgring Trophy 100, which is run over the first 100 minutes of the Marathon race on the Friday, on the joint GP/Nordschleife. I had planned to do NT100 last year, before shunting the TR at Combe, hoping for better luck this year ... Will be a busy weekend if it all comes off, especially as my brother will be co-driving the TR5 and we will both have the families with us, so that is 2 x 3 year girls and 2 x <1 year olds!

I have had no response, not even acknowledgement, of my emailed forms, anyone think I should be chasing, or am i just being too Anglo-Saxon about things?!

James

.

I'll be doing the Eifelrennen 18-20 June as well. This will be a perfect opportunity to race the grand old 'Northern Loop', which translates into 'Nordschleife' ánd the rebuilt 'Southern Loop' (Südschleife), presently the full GP circuit, which makes a total of 15.758 miles.

Friday qualifying 1 hour, Saturday qualifying 1 hour, Sunday race 3 hours and all by myself. Hurrah, lucky me!

Click on the link of e-tracks below to see the circuit lay-out;
http://www.etracksonline.co.uk/Europ...-01nordgp.html

F.I.S.C. Legendary Circuits are offering a * CRAZY SALE * on this event at the moment. I won't add a link though, that would be too commercial

Enjoy,

.

Be sure not to tell them, that once "they" have raced the Nordschleife, racing will never be the same again!
