Speeddemon555 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Rusty Fanning the Flames.

Rusty Wallace has started the war between makes by saying the Chevys has the "advantage" over his Dodge in Daytona. He contends that Nascar knows it and even went to say that the bowtie brigade are cheaters after Daytona Speedweeks in which they were dominant.

Didn't they go generic so that there wouldn't be arguments about this? or is this about suspension or engines or something?

Can't be about suspensions, because they all run the same basic geometries and have the same equipment available to them (shocks/springs/bars). Won't be about engines, as the Dodges have a little more torque than the others (at Daytona that doesn't matter 1 bit with the restrictors) and all are pretty equal in horsepower. Has to be about the aero, for which the rules are converging but are not 100% generic yet...

I wonder if Rusty or NASCAR has changed Their minds after the Fords were so dominant at the downforce race at The Rock, where bte the Chevy's finished dead last in MFGR's points & are now in 2nd place -3 points behind Ford in MFGR's point standings?
There are a lot more downforce events than aero(RP) events,so IMO if anything Ford has the better advantage,I don't understand why some Ford drivers are whining/crying,JMO!

Wallace has never liked the plate racing, and is always one of the loudest whiners about brand parity at those tracks. I bet he'd be a bit quieter if he'd ever won a 500. I hope NASCAR just leaves the rules alone. Or I wish they would set a few dates, maybe after each 1/4 of the season has passed, and say that any regs changes will occur then and only then. Shut up and race what you've got!
