2015 Blancpain Endurance Series
Fixed pitstop lengths? That's rubbish! What the heck? You shouldn't be penalized for good pit work.

It's not hard to see where SRO is coming from - they want to appease the "true" privateers without losing the de-facto works teams *coughcoughWRTcoughcough*. The problem is they end up annoying everybody, especially the fans.
Is this the start of BSS becoming a victim of its own success? |

#51 Ferrari might not make the race due to accident damage.

#51 Ferrari has been repaired in time for this mornings qualifying. Nissans very quick in these cold, foggy conditions.
Mixed up grid #63 Huracan on pole, all the Nissans are really quick. Audis are off the pace. Salih Yoluc hasn't caused any carnage yet. Last edited by tux; 20 Sep 2015 at 07:31. |

Sets up an interesting race with regards to the championship: #23 on the front row, #99 starts tenth, leaders Stippler/Ortelli further down the grid. Delicately poised, and there's fast potential spoilers (#63 Lambo, #59 McLaren, Bentleys) in the top ten that could play a major role.

Hopefully Salih Yuloc doesnt repeat his BGT shenannigans, stays out of the way and doesnt get involved in the championship battles. Fingers crossed for a good clean race between the Rowe and WRT guys for the championship. Lamborghini will hoping for a strong result after the season went downhill after Monza.

Round 4 of the Super Endurance Weekend has commenced. 11 hours of racing down, 3 to go...
Edit - Safety car for a beached PAM 458. Watson going mental on the commentary! Last edited by J Jay; 20 Sep 2015 at 13:11. |

What's the use of a Virtual Safety Car if they don't use it? How hard can it be to remove that car? It's not on the track is it? I'm sick and tired of the unnecessary use of Safety cars - here, in F1, in the US, everywhere. There must be better solutions than this. |

Kondakov is too far out of his depth. 2 laps down after 20 minutes, has twice (that we've seen) panicked and driven off the road when being lapped. Second time he did it he ballsed it up so much he got stuck and we got a SC.
There's amateur and then there's this. |

However, for me the issue with FCY/SC is second to the way they dragged the Ferrari out of the gravel, surely it was easier to pull it towards the pit lane? Nobody is going to be happy with all that gravel on the track. Quote:
Edit - The usual silliness at the restart, #22 Nissan punted hard into the pit wall, #59 McLaren punted into the gravel at T1 by the #99 SLS. |

Heavy crash for the #84 Bentley, let's see what the race director calls.
Edit - Safety car it is. Frijns gets past Walkinshaw but it may have been under a yellow flag. |

And of course you can't expect the safety car to pick up the leader. Lol, safety car waves the leader through ... what a bunch of amateurs in race control. |

SC waved the wrong car through. Race control opened the pit lane too late which meant the leaders couldn't pit. Then when they did pit, they were unable to catch the SC before it pitted.
Race control has lost control of this race. |

Problems for #2 WRT Audi and a Nissan, but which one isn't clear.
Farcical. I doubt Von Ryan will mind but for the other leading cars that was unacceptable. |

Can someone please tell me what the top 5 are right now? I'm at the track and have no idea what's going on.

Thanks. Guess Estre got their through the safety car fracas? They didn't seem to have the pace earlier, at least.

The #58 was the winner of the safety car roulette, having pitted very early it took advantage of the safety car stupidly waving past the #23 when it was the lead car.
