Do you think Ricardo Zonta was cheated of a higher placing because of BAR's pit-stop strategy? On a track like Monza with difficult overtaking, he did extremely well to do those 1-2 laps in third, before being relegated back to the back of the field after an early pit-stop.

No, because he would'nt be so fast if he had stopped only once, the tires would'nt be as good after a while and he would have more fuel in the car, the real man of the match was Jos Verstappen, and it's a real shame the Arrows has problems with cornering, because the top speed is great: 357 km/h!!

He also had a signifcantly lower fuel load before his first stop. Jacques was actually keeping pace with Hakkinen before he retired, and with a heavier fuel load.

I think its safe to say the Frentzen ISN'T the "Man of the Match"
Both Zonta and Verstappen drove great races-further proof that ANY of the drivers out there, on the right day, in a car that is suited to the track, is capable of an inspired drive, except maybe Marzipan. |
