Favourite team- McLaren but favourite drivers JPM and KR.
McLaren will probably always be my preference because of Senna's history there, but my new hope is for JPM and KR to both be at McLaren. |

I like BAR and Jaguar but my all time fave and the team I will always cheer for is Mclaren. It also just so happens that all my fave drivers (except J.Villeneuve) drove for them at some point, even Gilles.

I will forever love the small teams like Minardi. The underdogs will always have my attention. But, I do miss the Bennetton cars. Renault is them with new skin, but it isn't the same.

SAUBER!
Although that is only because Nick is there. I've always had a soft spot for Minardi as well. |

Williams for me, for the same reasons enemy-ace gave.
Because almost all my favourites once drove for them. (Mansell, Hill, Prost, Jacques, Senna) |

Gilles Villeneuve drove the British GP at Silverstone in 1977 for McLaren, he finished 11th. He may have done some NC races as well.
After Lauder left Ferrari, GV replaced him in the last 2 races of 77. |

Do we have to choose only one?
My top 2 are my fav's for totally different reasons. Ferrari because they are in it for F1. The only team to be in every championship, and are never there to make up the numbers. Minardi - the battlers of F1. They gove new tallent the oportunity to show their stuff (Alonso/Webber). They have survived where others could'nt, and I admire their spirit. Other notables are Williams and McLaren. Winning attitude like Ferrari and a total commitment to winning. |

McLaren if you have to choose one,DC for a driver.
A long time Lotus fan but they are just history now. Below is GV in his McLaren debut, before he left for Ferrari, hard to beleive McLaren never signed him up,his debut was great,he was right up with the leaders in the old M23 until mechanical probs slowed him. |

Gilles qualified 9th ahead of Jochen Mass and ran as high as 7th until he pitted with what was thought to be an overheating engine. It turned out to be a faulty temp. gauge, he then went back out and set 5th fastest lap. I've read that Mclaren didn't sign him because their sponsor wanted somebody else. Enzo Ferrari didn't have those restrictions and obviously recognized a fighting spirit in Gilles. The rest is history. |

Umm..... Probably Sauber or maybe Toyota, hell I don't know. As long as the car is not a certain shade of red I'll be happy.

Has to be Jordan, the only team that seems to know how to enjoy its racing.
Least favourite - Ferrari (for obvious reasons) and Mclaren (too dull). |

I don't have one, but I'd love to see someone other than the big three win a championship. Benetton were the last team to manage it and before that, you have to go back to 1983 to find the last time the Champ was one by something other than a Williams, McLaren or Ferrari. Illustrates the fantastic work of these three, but I would love to see someone else up there...... Not sure who MIGHT do it - Renault?

I think the poll is limited in the respect that only one can be chosen, i like Mclaren because i think they are the only ones this season who can challenge Ferrari, i DONT like Ferrari as they ruined F1 last year and that will be very hard to forgive (at least while TGF is there), but i do like Minardi fro their hard work and determination.

I like Jordan and Minardi these days, and I've also got great respect for Frank Williams and Ron Dennis. I find it much harder to become emotionally attached to corporations now - I used to lvoe Ferrari, but, especially after Austria, not anymore. It used to represent Italian pride and guts, now its just a colelctive of cheats and deviants out there for Fiat's gain.

i personally like McLaren as i see Ron Dennis as a man that want the best for F1 and true racing with not having any team orders and a guttsy driver in Kimi and a Brit with DC. |
