Really enjoyed last year, unfortunately it's a week earlier this year and clashes with the Cambrian Rally.

There are "only" 110 entries this year, compared to around 150 the last couple of years. Still nearly 40 cars in each group and hopefully it's just a blip, maybe due to clashes with other things.

If any photographers are going, would appreciate some shots of my silver Subaru wagon, #67 in group 2.

Yes it's a week earlier than previous years meaning that for me it clashes with the Cambrian Rally.

No sign of an entry list on the VSCC site, any one know of one?

It seems that Dave Richards (yes, that Dave Richards) has entered too, number 49 Fraser Nash Le Mans replica.

My prediction for winner is Gareth Williams' Lotus 26R, number 97.

I saw the name on the list and wondered if it was 'that' Dave Richards. Thanks for confirming.

What a brilliant day! Never done the Pom before but fancied it as something different and really enjoyed it. If anyone has any images of me out in my red Micra, car 44 (or my husband in a black MG ZR car 53) please feel free to drop me a PM.

boggissimo, hope you're ok after your DNF. I have some images but not so sure you'll want them

Thanks Suze, looked like you were enjoying yourself!

I'm a bit bruised and battered, but the car took the brunt of it

I did take a load of pictures so will see if I've got any of you or your husband.

That’s a very sad looking Scooby there, but glad you’re OK. Will it live to race again? There’s a lot of important bits right at the front of Imprezas.....

I've got it home now, not sure what parts at the front have survived but it still rolls and everything from the cabin backwards appears fine at first glance. Will probably get another one and swap any good bits over, I can't think of another vehicle that can do so much for as little money - it was also our family car for long journeys, given that our other car is a Nissan Leaf so is a pain to go long distances in.

Good that at least there are some positives. The wagon always seemed much less valued, I guess because the saloon was the rally car. But as you say, a very useful multi-purpose car! Out of curiosity, have you Pom’d it with enabled airbag(s) or disabled. No idea on the rules for them!

I've uploaded my onboard to YouTube now. Nothing particularly hairy although I did enjoy taking passing three cars in four corners! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N-A...ature=youtu.be

It was a brilliant event; I'd wanted to do it for a while but had put it off (have done the Goodwood Stages the week before normally and wouldn't have planned the two events in two weekends, or sometimes they've clashed). Very pleased to have done it; not sure how many cars will have tackled Wales Rally GB twice and then managed 40 mins on the Silverstone GP too but what a day! A huge amount learnt to apply for the future...

Thanks for looking for photos of us. I have some of your Subaru being recovered (and a friend has some just after it happened) as I came back to the pits and found your sorry looking sight. Hope you feel back to full fitness quickly!
